I definetly believe in the holy spirit.
I mean, I have been blessed w. so many gifts including tounges. God’s so cool that you don’t have to be afraid of his power, but accept it as a blessing. God isn’t trying to scare you. God’s Love is more than his words. It’s God speaking to you, through you. His Love for you is bigger than you can imagine. And he proves that externally by speaking through you. Don’t be afraid, he is here to hold you, not harm you, or scare you.

I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior when I was 14 and thought I was filled with the Holy Spirit then. I can’t talk in tongues though so does that mean I’m not saved and will not go to heaven?

@melissa: baptism in the Holy Spirit is NOT essential for salvation… accepting Jesus is all you need… but i beseech you to seek after and pray for it though… it’s awesome… God is awesome…

@melissa just because you dont speak in tongues doesnt mean you are not saved…now u should continue to seek God for the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues..its a free gift..just ask and recieve..
